INokia Advanced Car Kit CK-7W – Car talk
The Nokia CK-7W Advanced Hands Free Car Kit offers convenient handsfree communication while in a vehicle. It can be connected with a compatible mobile phone holder and also works wirelessly using Bluetooth wireless technology, providing compatibility with a broad range of mobile phones.
With a Nokia Advanced Car Kit CK-7W you can:
- connect your phone to the car kit automatically by Bluetooth from your bag or pocket when the ignition is switched on, or by using a cable connection (the car kit requires professional installation)
- take calls with the music on – there’s a handy remote control and your car stereo automatically goes to mute during a call (on compatible stereo systems)
- talk while you are in the car using the kit’s external microphone: sound is played through the kit’s speaker, or through your vehicle audio system
- arrive with a full battery: your phone charges when connected via cable in a compatible phone holder

An automatic radio mute turns down the tunes while you're on a call, and with a single button you can activate name dialling*, answer and end calls, and adjust the volume.
Plug In to Pop-Port™
Simply pop your compatible phone into the holder mounted in the vehicle and the Nokia CK-7W Advanced Car Kit takes over your
communications. Some compatible Nokia mobile phone holders can also charge your phone, so you can have a fully powered-up battery
when it's time to leave the car.
Wireless Connection with Bluetooth Wireless Technology
Mobile phones equipped with Bluetooth technology can establish a wireless connection with the Nokia CK-7W Advanced Car Kit. Once
paired with your phone, the kit automatically activates the connection when you start the ignition. Just slide in, buckle up, and
you're ready to go.
Car Radio Mute
The Nokia CK-7W Advanced Hands Free Car Kit has a Car Radio Mute feature which mutes the car radio during a phone call. It is not a user-selectable feature, but it is always enabled when Car Radio Mute is connected. Please note that the Car Radio Mute option might not interface with certain car stereos due to differing electronics.
Tele-Mute
To enable your calls to be heard through your car's stereo speakers, you will need a tele-mute loom to be installed with your Nokia CK-7W Advanced Hands Free Car Kit. This also mutes the car radio during a phone call. Tele-mute looms are vehicle and stereo specific; we will be able to advise you if a tele-mute lead is available for your particular vehicle and stereo.
