1. Price Information
The prices shown are only applicable to purchases made via the Talkative Handsfree website.
Special Offers and promotions advertised in the press or other media may be excluded unless specifically advertised as available online. All prices are correct at time of display online and include VAT. In the unlikely event of an administrative error resulting in an incorrect price being displayed, we reserve the right to correct the price. In these circumstances, you will not be bound to continue with your purchase, and will be asked to email us to confirm that you wish to proceed.
2. Ordering Goods
Supply and installation of goods ordered will usually be completed within and no later than 7 days of purchase and any stock issues will usually be resolved within that time frame. If we recommend an accessory, you have the option to pay for it while on the phone, pay for it on the day of your installation if required, carry on and book the installation without accepting the accessory, or cancel the booking. However if you are informed that the installation requires an accessory and you choose not to purchase it but continue to book the installation, should we then find we cannot install your product without the accessory, you will be charged for the installation (as per section 3 “Payment”).
During the purchase process you will be prompted to confirm the supply and installation address details, these must be the same as the card holder’s address. Terms and Conditions of Sale must be accepted for your order to proceed. Finally you will be asked for details of the credit/debit card you wish to use. At any point you can return to a previous screen to make amendments. After entering your credit/debit card details you will have a final chance to check all the details of your order. Talkative Handsfree will confirm receipt of your order by email, you will also receive a call within 3 hours of ordering to arrange a date for your installation to be carried out. However this will not bring into existence a legally binding agreement between us. All orders placed on the Talkative Handsfree website are subject to engineer availability and to the validation checks described in section 4 below. (Also please refer to section 1 above regarding incorrect prices). To clarify, no contract will exist between you and Talkative Handsfree for the sale of services by us to you until your credit/debit card has been charged. This will be deemed to be our acceptance of your order and to have been effectively communicated to you. Please note that the only language in which the contract can be concluded is English. 3. Payment
We accept payment by most major credit or debit cards. Payment will be debited to your account before the installation takes place.
If you or your vehicle are unavailable on the agreed date of installation, or your equipment is found to be incomplete, or your installation booking is found to be different from the service you have ordered, or your vehicle is not in a good enough working order to carry out the fit, we will charge the full installation fee without carrying out the service. However on rebooking the installation we will only charge 50% of the original fee.
4. Validation Checks
All credit and charge card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery of the service. In addition, in the interests of preventing fraudulent use of credit, debit and charge cards, Talkative Handsfree will validate the names, addresses and other information supplied during the order process against commercially available records (e.g. Electoral Roll data). We may need to contact you by letter, telephone or email to verify details before we are able to carry out this service or we may be unable to accept your order.
5. Liability
The majority of card issuers cover all the charges that may result from unauthorised use of your credit card or debit cards, but some may limit your liability to £50. If you believe your credit or debit card has been subject to unauthorised use you should contact your card issuer without delay.
6. Refunds and returns
If your goods arrive faulty or damaged you MUST inform us within 48 hours of receiving your goods.
Please sign for all goods as Un-Checked, if you do not and there is any damage to the item there is no way of making a claim for this.
If a fault becomes apparent in the first 7 days after delivery, we will either provide a full refund or dispatch new goods as soon as possible after the faulty goods have been returned (in original packing) to us. Please check with the manufacturers’ documentation to ensure that all the operating instructions have been followed correctly before reporting a faulty item.
